The benefits of Chinese medicine often include more than just relief from a particular condition. Many people find that it touches them on deeper levels, often quite profound levels other than their original complaint. Treatment can lead to an increase in energy levels, people feel brighter, and sleep improves as well as a much better sense of well being. Sometimes the effects of treatments are dramatic, with only one or two treatments needed.

With other patients, the effects are more subtle and they may need treatments over a longer period.

You get an idea of the vast number of patients we treated; the successful training I gave to the medical teams in ear acupuncture, which we used to treat the complaints from post traumatic shock. The acupuncture results were fantastic; we had a huge demand for our treatment, often with scuffles breaking out by the patients trying to get into our clinic. The Union of Health Care Committees staff could not have been more gracious and welcoming. They took care of us magnificently!

Treatment

Patients often tell Gisela that other complaints disappear as their main problem gradually eases. They also notice that they rarely pick up the current colds, flu or stomach bugs. People say that they generally feel calmer and lighter and notice their stress levels have reduced. The philosophy of Chinese medicine considers each person as unique, therefore the number of treatments depend on the individual’s own picture and patterns.
